While deeply fearful of being punished by the Haven for any sort of wrongdoing, she cannot suppress her impulsive curiosity and wanders outside the community on walks. On one such walk she stumbles upon one of the Haven's secrets.

Head of the Haven's Research Sect. She writes essays extolling the Haven's values.

She is very close with Cerise from the Writing Sect, and together with her sentences Maria's friend Jael to exile.

Head of Haven's Art Sect, also Magda's mentor.

She is kindhearted and popular but does not advocate for her friends during Apologia Assemblies for fear of losing her position.
