春へと続く丘

A girl coming to ward 13 to work as a teacher after receiving her teaching license. Besides giving normal lessons, she sets out another goal to fulfill all of her four students' wishes before school closure in 4 months.

[spoiler]It was not after Sakai-san's death did her casual school life undergo a drastic change. Many things get unveiled, questions left unanswered, till this day. The reason behind her amnesia, the 2014 incident, and above all, Mirai's wish of searching for a certain "book"... An adventure begins, as she decided to pursue the answers to everything.[/spoiler]

Despite being hard-headed sometimes, the protagonist is a caring, emotional girl. She loves drinking strawberry milk and listening to radio with [url=/c91252]Mirai[/url] in her meantime. In the school, she would play catch with her students after class is over.

Later on, her name is revealed to be [spoiler]Inamori Alice[/spoiler].

A student of the class. She is a cheerful girl, sometimes she gets flustered by taking other people's joke too seriously. Her parents have a small coffee shop outside of ward 13. 

Being an obedient child, she never speaks her mind in front of them, not even her wish of [spoiler]"moving out together with everyone". It's because of her parents' duty to take care of a tree in the town's shrine, which is said to protect this town.[/spoiler]

She is a childhood friend of [url=/c91284]Takeshi[/url], and is on good terms with [url=/c91252]Mirai[/url] as well. The three of them used to play catch together before Alice comes to town. Despite her cheerful appearance, she can be very serious and mature occasionally.

The principal of the school Alice's currently teaching. After a discussion with Alice's sister, they have come to a mutual conclusion, which is to let Alice come to ward 13 and start working from 1 Dec 2026.

A responsible person with a signature gentle smile, the principal is hardly agitated by anything. However, [spoiler]beyond it lies numerous secrets being kept hidden from everyone else. Alice's father's death, or reasons behind her amnesia, ... things only start to emerge after the second murder case in town.[/spoiler]

The principal stays inside the school, [spoiler]together with Alice and Mirai[/spoiler]. Likes reading and is pretty decent at cooking. He has a "neutral" personality, maintaining his objective judgment towards everything.

Youngest member of the class. Haruto is a friendly person, as he gets along very well with his classmates. However, [spoiler]as the story progresses, another side of Haruto is revealed the moment he witnessed a homicide up the hill. Shocked by the sudden happenings, he gradually turns silent, keeping distance from everyone. Fortunately, Alice managed to clear things out afterward, and Haruto gradually comes back to his former self.[/spoiler]

Haruto also likes baseball, albeit not as good as [url=/c91284]Takeshi[/url]. His parents run a beauty salon inside ward 13. As the only son in the family, he wants his parents to be more intimate with each other.

A student of the class. However, different from her other classmates, she usually skips it, goes up the hill and gazes aimlessly for hours instead. Upon hearing that [url=/c91246]Alice[/url] is going to fulfill her wish, she decides to come back with her, to her hometown.

[spoiler]For the cult member, Mirai is well-known as the "God's child" for her infamous "Vanished Mountain" incident. Her power, "silent explosion", has such immense power that the Japanese government has decided to let her do whatever she pleased. After running away from the mountain, she restarts her life by coming to ward 13.[/spoiler]

Despite being somewhat strange in the first place, Mirai is very kind toward her younger classmates. Regarding her emotionlessness, [spoiler]it is crucial in keeping her power stable, under control.[/spoiler]

[url=/c91253]Asuna[/url]'s childhood friend. [url=/c91379]Takeshi's father[/url] owns a grocery shop in ward 13, and it is said that his personality resembles his father a lot. Loves eating curry and hotpot.

[spoiler]Her background is revealed in the latter part of the story. The Shishime family has the duty to protect this town, by protecting the tree inside the town's shrine. Being the youngest of all sisters, she must remain in ward 13 forever to carry on with her duty.[/spoiler]
 
Despite being with Asuna all the time, she [spoiler]has never seen Asuna's true feelings[/spoiler]. Upon hearing from Alice regarding Asuna's wish, Haruka decided to support her.

Funahashi Haruka 船橋 遥

[url=/c91253]Asuna[/url]'s father.

A wise and knowledgeable person, especially about [spoiler]"infected person"[/spoiler]. Adhering to his belief, Master could be very stubborn sometimes. He, [url=/c91377]his wife[/url], and [url=/c91379]Takeshi's father[/url] are classmates since childhood.

Tired of the social lifestyle, Subaru chooses to reside underground, where he would spend all days working and playing games on his computer. One could refer to him as a hikikomori, despite that, Subaru is a very knowledgeable person, thanks to all his friends and connections made online. He is also the creator of the Telepathy Network (TPN). Has a firm belief that everything must be traded equally, and is willing to help anyone he deems "qualified", with all his might.
