Description
In the year 2069, Japan's gender ratio had drastically unbalanced, with a population ratio of three men for every one woman, leading to a severe surplus of males. This, coupled with a rise in the number of single women due to ongoing women's independence movements, caused a significant decline in the birth rate, putting the survival of the Japanese population at risk.
In response to this situation, the Japanese government attempted to curb the declining birth rate by banning the use of contraceptives and offering childbirth incentives to women. However, these measures did not produce the desired results.
On the contrary, these policies that favored women only served to increase the perception of women's value, leading men to become subservient, merely existing to please and lavish gifts upon women. Women, in turn, began to compete to see who could attract the most men willing to spoil them.
