Tsukumo was adopted when he was very young kid - in 1999 - by the Sakurazuka family following the loss of his family because of a natural disaster in 1996.

At first, he couldn't think of [url=https://vndb.org/c10013]Natsuki[/url] as his sister until she saved him - the same year - from drowning, getting hurt herself in the process. Ever since, he has been devoting a deep love to her, more than brotherly.

Tsukumo rarely loses consciousness after a fight, even if it was a difficult fight. On the other hand, [url=https://vndb.org/c10014]Mimi[/url]'s kitchen nearly sent him to the other world ...

[spoiler]After rescuing Mimi from a bunch of mobsters, she declares her love for Tsukumo who tells him he will think. Tsukumo then declares his love to his sister but is rejected. He then agrees to go out with Mimi as a friend, but the more time passes, the more Mimi is in love with him. Naive but smart, Mimi understands that Tsukumo loves someone else and asks him an ultmatum ...

If Tsukumo don't see Mimi as her person only for him, he breakup with her. If he choose to have sex with Mimi but can't forget his love for Natsuki, she breakup with him. If Tsukumo choose Mimi, they stay together.
Although he doesn't see Mimi as a romantic interest, Tsukumo loves her a lot and is very angry at him for breaking her heart.

When his sister gets sick, he learns from [url=https://vndb.org/c10018]Kirihiko[/url] that this is probably due to poisoning. He thinks she was poisoned the day she saved Tsukumo from drowning years ago.

When she dies, Tsukumo is destroyed but manages to recover thanks to his entourage and decides to save his sister from "himself" by preventing her from hurting herself in the past.

His return to the present makes him exist in duplicate. And that's not the only thing that has changed.

Some people he knew are completely different, their lives are different. His brain contains two versions of his memories, those of events that have been known since the beginning of the game and new ones that are parallel. 
Tsukumo's mission is far from over and he decides to go back in time with "[url=https://vndb.org/c69899]Doc[/url]" in 1996 ...

Being the same Tsukumo that the player controls since the beginning of the game, he keeps all the attributes of his counterpart, just his way of dressing changes.

Although she doesn't seem to be very smart, Mimi is a girl who understands things very easily just by observing them. Very much in love with Tsukumo, she sees that the more time passes, the more he seems to be lost.

When she learns that Natsuki is not his biological sister, she begins to understand that Tsukumo is loving her more than a sister. He then decides not to interact with them so as not to destroy the temporal flow (or something like that) but a fight between his other him, Natsuki (who loses consciousness) and thugs force him to intervene.
