The protagonist who records their adventures in notebooks. They have a very weak memory, resulting in them often blacking out and not remembering anything. 

They describe themself as acting as their Friend's "legs". While their friend waits for their return at home, they explore the world and show their Friend their notebook once they return.

He's an author who is noted as being smart, kind, and good looking. While the protagonist is out on adventures, he patiently waits at home for his return. This is likely due to his weak body.

Friend

A person who the protagonist comes across in the Burnt Residential Area. They claim to be surprised by the protagonist's sudden appearance after "all the things they've done." Much to the protagonist's confusion, they proceed to tell them that a group of other people want to rip them to pieces just as much as they do.

They then pull out a baseball bat with nails and chase after the protagonist, describing it as "A spider trapping his pray in a web." After hiding, the protagonist says they will leave "after having their fun."

Cape

A girl the protagonist comes across at the abandoned research building. She claims to recognize them, grabs their hand, and pulls them to the building. When asked where she was taking them, she said that there they would find the "way to escape this world."

The protagonist goes along with her, mainly out of curiosity.

Dress

A foreigner who the protagonist comes across in Town Central. He's noted as having an accent and being very clean compared to the locals. He asks the protagonist for a way to "message the people remaining" because he wants to "get out of this mess."

The protagonist comes up with the idea of making "stars" as a message. By this, they mean that they can light fireworks. After seeing the happy crowd of people, the protagonist decides to stay a little longer.
