When you first got your hands on that high tech camera, that was the beginning of the nightmare.
All you had planned was to record some strange phenomena and make some money by selling it to some tv station.
That's when you first heard the rumours about a scary abandoned village home to youkai. They say many have left with their sights on the village but none of the rumours mention anyone coming back.
Blinded by your greed, you stepped into the abandoned village all by yourself.
Into the village called Youkaimura.
Based on the Edogawa Ranpo prize winning author Torii Kanako's book "Akumu no Youkaimura".
