Set in Nagoya, Japan in the year 2132, Dream of Stars follows a young reclusive hacker named Tomohiro Ishikawa as he gets scouted into "Hoshi," a government space exploration and research agency, to build an operating system for their flagship spacecraft.  As he gradually comes to adjust to the outside world, he meets five young women in Hoshi's employ, each with their own histories and baggage, and gets caught up in their lives as he must help them lay that baggage down.
