He works at the Gionji Detective Agency, managed by his adoptive father, Gionji Tsubaki.

Nearly one year prior, he awoke to an unusual power, one which allowed him to trace the memories of one's past.

Though he thinks himself to be a rational and collected thinker, he can't help but jab insults at any of the seeming nitwits he comes across.
Needless to say, others don't see him the way he sees himself, given his tendency to get wildly lost in thought and blurt whatever comes to mind.

Gionji Mito 祇園寺 緑道

A second-year student at Narahama High School.

Though academically outstanding and a proud daughter of an affluent family, there's no end to the waves of boys who take a special interest in her, due to her radiant innocence and willingness to hold a conversation with practically anyone.

Despite being beloved by all, she merely acts this out as just a role to be played, skillfully taking on the task of not being disliked by anyone. 
These expectations inwardly suffocate her mind as the days go by.

Himehara Mari 姫原 毬

A second-year student at Narahama High School.

Upon closer inspection, she's a beauty to behold, though she tends to be rather absent-minded, further lacking both friends in class and any sort of presence wherever she goes.

She isn't mute, and on the contrary, easily falls into longwinded discussion on the topic of urban legends. In fact, it isn't terribly uncommon for any surrounding listeners to get profusely tired of this ditzy girl's demonstrations.

Mikage Masora 御影 真空

A second-year student at Narahama High School.

With folded sleeves, spiked hair, and a really vulgar demeanor, he's the kind of hoodlum you wouldn't wanna get close to.

Behind his back, everyone whispers he isn't worthy of being a resident here in the Clearworld.

Though his past has left him seeming like a jagged edge, his outstanding reflexes have made him a scholarship student in the world of athletics, not to mention his decent grades, constant attendance, and shockingly serious attitude.

Tsurugi Koutarou 剱 航太朗

The owner of a detective agency in the city of Kawamine, close to Clearworld Narahama.

Mito is a distant relative of his, and for one reason or another, he adopted the boy and has been living with him since.

He has the tendency to act in the heat of the moment, but due to the time he spent on the force, he also acts with an exceedingly deep sense of justice.
Rather perceptive to the truth and human nature, there are those who admire him, and those who disdain him.

Gionji Tsubaki 祇園寺 椿

A teacher at Clearworld Narahama's very own Narahama High School.

For Mito and the others, she acts as their homeroom teacher. 
With a beautiful body that any man would look twice at, she upholds a remarkably strict demeanor. 

Her sincerity in this regard is so elevated that she seeks to orderly tie down her surroundings with her own style of common sense, to the point anyone addressing her with even the slightest amount of insincerity has no choice but to turn tail and bolt.

Ibu Chiyoko 伊武 千代子

Clearworld Narahama's very own humanoid support unit.

While they may seem to be heavily-equipped people, their innards are mechanical, and they even come installed with the latest type of AI.

They are deployed in schools, companies, dormitories, and other public institutions, where they send information on the health and activities of Clearworld residents to the central organization to best ascertain any trouble or health concerns.
A number of units are delegated to patrolling or cleaning.

Katashiro カタシロ

A third-year student at Narahama High School, and an outstanding one at that: the top of his class.

Eloquent and handsome, the glimmer of his teeth simply blind every time he smiles. 
While he asserts that he is actually rather frail, he is the hard-working symbol of his school, from managing the dormitories to heading the student council. 

Those he speaks to are often astonished by his brilliant mind, as he is easily capable of reading what comes next in a conversation just from its flow.

Sasame Kaito 笹目 開都

An employee of Bensalem, the world's top megacorporation, one which ushered in the discovery of neo-photons.

As an elite among even the elite, he was appointed manager of Clearworld Narahama, given his talents. 

He is very famously a well-loved administrator to his citizens, but as an adamant believer in elitism, he hides his true ambitions of heartlessly ridiculing and even ostracizing those he believes to be inferior or holds different views.
