Description
A fan-made visual novel based on the world of RWBY, a animated web series created by Rooster Teeth. As an alternative story from the original work (starting from volume 2), this visual novel can be understood without watching the series, but it may contain some spoilers.
JPDE is played from the view of protagonist David di Kabegis, a strange newcomer to the world of Remnant who arrives through meteor landing.
Upon first awakening, with a dreadful case of amnesia to boot, he encounters Penny Polendina, and from there the game kicks off as David attends the famed Beacon Academy to train as a Huntsman, all while discovering himself in possession of combat skills he is unaware of ever obtaining.
David is then placed into a team through a special initiation, where he becomes the third member of Team JADE, along with leader/partner Jacqueline B. Ivory, Penny, and bunny-eared Evelyn Damerot.
Behind the game's actual story, an optional part of the game involves spending time with other characters from RWBY and, slowly but surely, forming a relationship with them. It is intended that at least every female character introduced pre-Volume 4 have their own route, though not all may be romantic.
