Ryou is an orphan who gained his independence through his talent in programming. He holds some money-making contracts with businesses and even a bank. He deeply cares for his friends, Claire and Rina since they shared a strong adolescence with each other. He developed feelings for Claire. He is actually aware of Rina’s feelings for him.

All of this get complicated very quickly when rumors about monsters in the forest appear and the suggestion from Sophia that Claire and Rina may be hiding something dark from him. What will Ryou do?

Ryou

He is a self-proclaimed otaku who frequents maid cafes and arcades with bullet hell games. Alex frequently gets excited about things that Ryou doesn’t understand. Still Ryou finds himself hanging out with Alex as he does find Alex’s world interesting at times.

Ryou then hears that this “Otaku” was once one of the legendary “players” called the Wings of Light. Then Ryou receives a mysterious email from someone claiming to be a “player”. Could it be Alex trying to help Ryou out? It may be key to figuring out what is bothering Claire.

Alex

She is an outgoing friend of Ryou and Rina. Somewhat protective with her friends, she is a little hard on Ryou in hopes of toughening him up for the real world. Currently has a boyfriend despite Ryou’s feelings for her. She cheers on Rina’s love for Ryou.

However Claire starts to act strangely as times passes. Ryou hears a few things about her that are unsettling.

She is a Magical girl that fights off the shadow monsters and poses for magazines for money. Some are thankful for Mystica’s deeds to protect the city from monsters. Some question the virtuous nature of this superhero. There is a chance that Ryou and Mystica may cross-paths. Whether Ryou is ready or not when and if it happens is another matter entirely.

She is a cheerful and sweet girl who has strong grades and feelings for Ryou. She treasures her friends deeply. She feels stuck as she wants to help Ryou but also want him for herself.

Recently, Rina just quit all involvement with the school clubs she participated in and got a job.
