One of the first people truly interested in the Sacred Heart Curse Killings, true to his love for investigating the paranormal. He is also a great math tutor, consistently competing once every year and dreams of becoming a detective someday.

Miyu Hirano

The Student Council President of Maria St. Claire Institute and the sole candidate for the Highest Honors in her batch.

Always maintains a set of principles to follow in both normal and crisis situations. She keeps a journal, which she dedicates herself to writing every day. Has an interest in psychoanalysis; hence, her secret interest in playing poker.

[spoiler]Depending on how the story will play out, she may or may not be the true identity behind L.C.[/spoiler]

Sayo Ronoroa

The class president of IV-B and expected to finish as the valedictorian.

Known for his exceptional abilities in math and social skills, he gets along with people quite easily, some of which he plays pranks on. He is also a varsity player, excelling in volleyball. Most of the negativity surrounding him is usually attributed to his pride and occasional narrow-mindedness, suspecting it might be from his newfound rank among his batchmates.

[spoiler]Too bad he didn't get enough time to redeem himself. He is the third to be brutally murdered in L.C.'s deadly game.[/spoiler]

Ichirou Yokohama

The president of the Mathematics Club and the vice president of Class IV-A.

Known for having two different sides: a business-minded lady and a playful girl. She always pushes for one side of the argument with experience as the strongest evidence. "To see is to believe," that is.

[spoiler]After L.C., she is the first major antagonist following a drastic change of psyche during her abduction.[/spoiler]

Inoue Shinozaki

Death Roulette focuses on ten students from Maria St. Claire Institute, all of whom are graduating from high school. Everything seems normal at first... until a strange "link" is uncovered. Conspiracy theories circulate around an incident the previous academic year, when a mass murder occurs at Sacred Heart Village. One by one, a student is killed each month, and the mastermind is never unmasked. To top it off, one of MSCI's alumna is involved, but even she is proven innocent... or is she?

Come one morning, and the students of MSCI find out that even they have been compromised: someone is re-enacting the Sacred Heart Murders through a long-running game of deadly roulette. This time, they have a chance of unmasking the culprit, but how many lives will the effort cost? The time has started, and the game is on.
