Protagonist of Eden, the [spoiler]incarnated king of Mu[/spoiler]. A regular, slightly pessimistic average high school male who is pretty much indifferent with everyone. He has lost his mother when he was young and has also lost his father due to certain events in the past. [spoiler]This incident mainly involved Tsukimura Emu’s father. Despite the tragedy, Ryuu swore by his own "hand to heart" contract that he'll protect and live for Emu, no matter what happens.[/spoiler]
He probably would have continued living a normal life if not for the events which happened in Mirokujima.

Ichinokura Ryuu 市之倉隆

The mad scientist and inventor of the Royal Slave Knights. [spoiler]Ariari is the one who re-surfaced the continent of Mu and also invented all types a technology that uses the power of the miracles. Ariari is the only slave knight that talks to [url=/c921]Ryuu[/url] very casually, and also is the one in charge of the huge infodump. She is also the one who openly expresses her worries about the fate of Mu kingdom in the current king's hands, and if anything I agree with her.

As one of the the most famous Royal Slave Knights, she is known to the Maya Union as the "Genius of Cruelty" alias "Death Torrent".
She speaks frankly to Ryuu, likes jokes and pranks but openly shouts at him whenever she feels uneasy . She's in charge of developing weapons and remodelling the palace. She's in the middle of incorporating the Narayana series' power of miracles in her research and development. The technologies "Regeneration" and "Noah's Ark" were the result of this research/development. She can also use the miracle called "Cherry Blossom's record" for various things like performing medical examination and treating the King.[/spoiler]

Ariari アリアリ

By day the cool, mysterious and beautiful school idol of Minkei Academy but [spoiler]is really one of the four "Royal Slave Knights" of Mu. Her duty is mainly maintaining the well-being of the king, including even the king’s lower half needs. As she reveals her identity, she also softens up in character. Appearing to become more of a civil servant who appeases the king and takes everything [url=/c921]Ryuu[/url] says beyond the realms of common sense. Perhaps something in the past led to her clinginess, as she seemed to be afraid of "letting Ryuu go again".

One of the Royal Slave Knights and is known to the Maya Federation as the "Godspeed Lancer" aka "Sky Lancer".  Among the slaves, she has the lowest priority number for assassination as number 7, but nevertheless she's still fairly strong.
She went to Japan supposedly to ascertain Ryuu's location and to bring him back, but given the strange way he acted, she decided to infiltrate Minkei Academy to be closer to him. Before long she became one of Minkei Academy's three great idols.

Due to the Mother's Bathing effect of her Miracle, the "Elephant's Record", she's fit for fending off the attacks of the Maya Union's normal soldiers. She's basically Ryuu's escort. According to her, she's still inexperienced at serving in bed, so she's probably a virgin. Her character can be described as a worrywart and she doesn't have common sense. With only 2016 years as her age she is probably the youngest among the Royal Slave Knights.[/spoiler]

A cat?

[spoiler]Okay first off, Izunahime is not a cat. She may look like a talking cat, and even though her signature move is her nekopunch, she repeats it often "I am not a cat!
Well, Izunahime was a human but turned into a cat via miracle power. In return for this humiliation (for her anyway, others think it is cute), she gains sharpened senses and can detect whether someone is lying from observation.
12000 years ago, while she was changing into a cat using the "Cat's Record", she was attacked causing her to drop the miracle, and ever since then she's been unable to return to her original form. She can alter her form to some degree such as growing wings, fangs and enlarging her tail. In her human form she used to be really strong, able to oppose even [url=/c927]Mezaroa[/url], and in her cat form she's about on the level of [url=/c1007]Chris Kanu[/url] and [url=/c977]Ariari[/url].[/spoiler]

Izana-hime イザナヒメ

The egoistic ojousama who believes she is the most beautiful thing in this world.
Maya Union's former assassination target with a priority number of 1666, she's the object of admiration to many of their elders now. With her silver colored twintail, crimson eyes and her mysterious nature she captures the heart of the people who see her.
If you express their thoughts about her in words "She is more majestic than gods and more beautiful than the world."
Rumor has it that she managed to reach the top of the organization not by seizing the elders' weakness but by seizing their crotch, thus earning her the nickname "Fellatio Princess".
She belongs to the Special Peace corps, despite the rumor that she's not very strong and that she doesn't work much.
It seems she believes that the world revolves around her. She always carries a fan around, and refers to herself with "Lavi".

Lavice ラヴィーズ

A mysterious woman. Details about her are unknown.
She has a quite bizarre appearance.
Ryuu meets her in a certain place and... he gets himself involved with terrifying events after.

[spoiler]She's actually the captain of the Royal Slave Knights of Mu, and one of the most loyal followers of Ryuu. She is as graceful as she is fierce on the battlefield,  known as "Guillotine Maria". The strongest of the slave knights, and one that is very diligent and dutiful.
She carries the "Hawk's record", a miraculous sword.
It's rare -albeit not unheard of- to see her changing her expressions as she's always deadpan.
She is 12021 years old.[/spoiler]

A bright and sweet girl who loves her father and is attending in a certain school. She takes pride in being a virgin. It seems she wants her first time with the person she likes.

One day while she was on her way home from playing in the city, she was kidnapped by a bunch of thugs who were planning on raping her, but then...

[spoiler]Big breasted virgin girl who's been Maya Union's former assassination target with a priority number of 98. She and her beloved father are part of the Maya Union now, with her father being part of the group which leads the Maya Union, the central assembly. 
She was caught by the Royal Slave Knights, but was released afterwards due to Ryuu's decision. Later on, for some not yet known reason she transferred to Ryuu's school, Minkei Academy.[/spoiler]

Renko レンコ

The childhood friend of Ryuu, an obedient, easy going, good girl that never done anything wrong in her life. Like all childhood friends, she has a crush on Ryuu.

She's another of Minkei Academy's three great idols. She's very devoted to Ryuu [spoiler]to the point that she would even sacrifice herself just to protect him.[/spoiler] She seems to be holding affection toward him based on the things she do like bringing the food she cooked to Ryuu or going to his house to pick him up. She made a promise with him that they'll hang out once he has come back from Mirokujima but [spoiler]due to the Maya Federation's false propaganda, she ended up believing that everyone who went there, including Ryuu, died. She probably also got jealous seeing him and Kanu getting along well together.[/spoiler]

She's a member of the Art club and the class representative. A thoughtful and kind girl. She's quite altruistic and immediately pushes herself to the limit but she does it without anyone noticing it as she has the tendency to keep everything to herself.

A male student attending Minkei Academy and is Ryuu's classmate, he has silver hair and is an Aquarius.
He's interested in Chris Kanu and it seems he would like know more about her. During the investigation, he decided to confess to her, but was unable to.
While Kurisu Kanu was about to be raped by the US soldiers, it seems he had some kind of plan to intervene but [spoiler]before he could do anything he was swallowed by the hydrogen bomb's explosion and supposedly have died... except he didn't.[/spoiler]
He moves at his own pace and acts the same way toward everyone.
He's logical and likes roundabout explanations. His hobby is observing people.

Akutsu Ryouta 阿久津亮太

A male student attending Minkei Academy and is Ryuu's classmate. A short and weak four eyed boy. He has a sarcastic and show-off side but is usually an earnest guy. It's easy to tell when one hits the mark with him as it shows on his face. It seems he's not aware of this habit of his though.
His zodiac sign is virgo and his hobby is taek wan do. It seems like he likes Kurisu Kanu, but he denies that.
He witnessed the masked woman committing manslaughter during the Mirokujima investigation, and later [spoiler]he was swallowed by the hydrogen bomb explosion.[/spoiler]

Hoshiguchi Jun 星口純

She's the person in change of the second years in Minkei Academy.
Her nickname is "Zamasuka", as she ends most of her sentences with "zamasu" and "zamashou".
She has a pretty difficult attitude.

Kanetomo 金友

Emu's best friend, a female student attending Minkei Academy, and is one of the three great idols there. She's pretty strict toward Ryuu. She doesn't hold back against things she doesn't like, that's also the reason why she's not very honest. She's on good terms with Emu, and can't help but get worried about her altruistic personality.
Her doll is pretty awesome, it perfectly reflects Yuune's mood (and mood-swingings) all the time.

Kino Yuune 希野優音

One of the male students attending Minkei Academy and is Ryuu's classmate.
He is a classic punk character and often picks up fights with other people. In essence a delinquent. Due to his might, the other delinquents obey him like a leader. He's a skirt chaser and someone who likes to party.
He is on bad terms with Ryuu.

Saimoto Yogorou 佐井本与五郎

A female student attending Minkei Academy and she is Ryuu's classmate.
She likes when various affairs happen, especially those which involve other people's love life, as she is Gemini.
Despite being a girl, she is one of Chris Kanu's biggest fan. She adores her and secretly calls her "Onee-sama", albeit she doesn't address her like this directly when she's front of her though.
It seems like she may have a strong sixth sense(?) [sic].
Her favorite sukiyaki topping is Konjac noodle (糸こんにゃく).

Yanagita Kiriko 柳田霧子

A student not studying in Minkei Academy.
His defining trait is how his face is hidden by his bangs and how he's wearing his gakuran over a long y-shirt.
For some reasons he looks suspicious.

Bokinman ボキンマン

Member of the Maya Union. Holds the name "Steel Arm" aka. "Iron Man". He was a former assassination targer with a priority number of 70. 
Although he doesn't even resemble any kind of human, he's a fully pledged Japanese. He has a height of 3 meters and has these grotesquely large eyes.
One of his defining features is the spurt of blood everywhere on him, which he got from fighting with the other members.

DEVIL Taizou DEVIL泰三

Butt naked muscle man.
[spoiler]He survives Chris Kanu's strong head-blow and was left with a flattened head, but later Mezaroa's strike kills him.[/spoiler]
His name originates from "Doudemoii" which means "whatever".
He was a former assassination target with a priority number of 130.

Dodemoi ドデモイ

He goes by the name "Death face with crawling maggots", alias "Necroface". He is part of Maya Union's Tokuwa Corps, and wears his mark stabbed into his own head.
True to his Goriguro (Grotesque) name, he has a dark discolored skin, rotting smell and this somehow still alive but utterly decayed human flesh; he is probably some type of zombie.
The holder of the "Crane's Record". He [spoiler]killed Fujimiya Masaki for arbitrarily leaving and not properly guiding Lavice.[/spoiler]

Goriguro ゴリグロ

He looks like he plays as a bassist in some band.
[spoiler]Died by Chris Kanu's strong strike (he didn't die immediately though).[/spoiler]
His name comes from "Kingyousukui" (that activity with scooping goldfishes during festivals).
Works for the Maya Union and was former assassination target 104.

Gyosukui ギョスクイ

Former Maya Union assassination target with a priority number of 38.

Hanavi ハナヴィー

He was originally named Kamaseenu, but because the creator, Niwatori, felt it sounded too french thus cheeky, he changed his name to Kamashi. His name comes from Kamashiinu ("biting dog" / "mad dog").
He appeared in Ver 3.2 and [spoiler]immediately died by the "Scorpion's Record" of the unnamed character whose POV those scenes were using.[/spoiler]
He has specially received the rights to remove the assasination order from No. 10014 down to 10000.
His speech is odd as he oftentimes pronounces "S + vowels" as "Sy + vowels" ("syayonara" instead of "sayonara").
He wears a helmet with the characters "Safety First", his eyes looks like inverted triangles and finally, he's a hunchback.

Kamashi カマシ

Former assassination target with a priority number of 166 and is working for the Maya Union.
A girl with an extraordinary ability to survive. She's actually two entities living in symbiotism with each other, Miminzo being a parasite of alien origin.
[spoiler]She was thought to have immediately died when Mezaroa cut off her neck but survived thanks to Miminzo-tan.
The Royal Slaves caught her once again when she tried to save Renko, but after Ariari disrupted their escape attempt, she was thrown outside the window with full force by Ariari and haven't reappeared since.[/spoiler]

Kyaroro キャロロ

An individual working for the Maya Union; a former assassination target with the priority number of 69.
His hobby is raping women but it seems despite his name he's neither a pedo nor a lolicon.
[spoiler]He was blown away by Mezaroa who killed him using his own move "tsukiyubi" (突指), but it's not fully known whether he isn't still alive somehow (probably not).[/spoiler]

Pedololisu ペドロリス

Ichinokura Ryuu and twenty-so others stand on an inevitable point in life. Rather, it’d be more appropriate to say they are currently standing on that point quite literally as they gaze at the incoming nuclear missile head about to dissipate them wholly. To think they’ve narrowly escaped from many bad situations today, one of which being the prevention of rape of Kurisu Kanu from the very army who vowed to protect their country, only to face impending doom so soon.

It all started in Minkei Gakuen, on a regular day. Ryuu was asked by his teacher Oogawa to join the student expedition team for Mirokujima, a recently discovered unknown island that never appeared on maps before. The trip which normally would be viewed as “lame” is fueled by the one fact that the “cool, mysterious and beautiful” school, no district idol Kurisu Kanu is participating. At any means it was supposed to be a healthy and safe trip as Ryuu convinces his childhood friend Tsukimura Emu to stay put at home.

The next day Ryuu left for Mirokujima: A supposingly uneventful journey.
