[spoiler]Graves has two known forms of magic, metal and cat magic. He is also skilled at ward magic. With his metal magic, Graves could create sculptures out of metal. Now that Nacht has taken his metal magic, he can no longer do so, and Nacht also limited some of Graves' speech, making it so he has a coughing fit when he tries to tell Avery about the situation with Nacht. 

His cat magic allows him to turn himself and others into cats. He turned his workers into cats to pose as familiars because witches often like to kill new witches for fun.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]The main villain of the story who has a close relationship with Graves. He claims to have a lot of patience, but is shown to be good at fighting both with fists and magic. Nacht's original magic is paper magic, but he stole part of Grave's metal magic, causing the metal magic to become rust.
