Her real name is Kim Hyun-Ae, also called the Pale Bride.

She was a girl who downloaded her mind into a computer (nearly killing *Mute) to avoid her complete death when she completely wiped out the entire population of the Mugunghwa in an act of revenge. She was a very sick girl in life so her father put her into stasis until a future where she could be treated was made. It didn't work out.[/spoiler]

The security AI for the Mugunghwa who was created on Earth. She was the Councillor of Security, and thus in charge of the security forces of the Mugunghwa, until an incident caused things to change. Remained in charge of security even after the incident though. She's more than 1600 years old.

After the incident with the Pale Bride, many years after the first incident, she has had to spend the many years since then shut down due to damage she took.

[spoiler]She tried to overthrow the Mugunghwa Council, which she was part of, when she felt that they were jeopardizing the ship's security and stability, but she failed and her memory was wiped as a result.[/spoiler]

Hate Plus is a sequel to Analogue: A Hate Story that continues directly from the end of that game, and explores, over the course of three days, the events leading up to year 0. If Analogue was the backstory of *Hyun-ae, then Hate Plus is the backstory of *Mute. It’ll continue from your Analogue save file, so each ending will have its own route with equal focus. It plays similarly to Analogue, but instead of your AI companion simply showing you files they’ve picked, you’ll have to investigate yourself, and discover what happened together!

It features new art and costumes, an all new soundtrack (plus theme song “It’s Not Ero!!”) from Isaac Schankler, a whole new and improved UI, and more writing than Analogue did.
