## Description
The Edge Of is a Mystery NTR visual novel with a tense atmosphere and a story that will keep you on The Edge Of your seat. The Definitive Edition has one organic art style, an extended Beth's perspective, and more beautiful illustrations added to the experience. Play as either Sam as he grapples with the fact that his wife might be cheating on him, or Beth, the lovely wife who couldn't possibly be cheating... or is she?

Coming back home after a week-long business trip, Sam can't help but sense that something isn't quite right the moment he set foot inside his house. Is it the fact that his newlywed wife was sleeping in the afternoon rather than waiting impatiently for his return? Or is it because she was rather evasive the moment he questioned her about it? Or maybe it is simply his weary mind playing tricks on him? The latter seems like the most compelling answer, or so he thought, but as he finds himself gazing at a selfie his wife sent him during his business trip--a selfie in her lingerie--he notices something he didn't catch when he first received it; the presence of three inconspicuous fingertips peeking at the edge of the frame.

### Beth Lindsay
A 24-year-old social worker, Beth has been married to Sam for six months. Empathetic to a fault, she is good at her work because she actually listens to her clients. Beth brings this same empathy and patience home, into her everyday life, and she loves her husband deeply. She cooks for him, waits up for him, and still thinks of their marriage as precious and as something worth protecting.

Gentle and bookish, she avoids confrontation even when she should not. When Sam returns from a business trip colder, and more distant than before, her first instinct is to ease his mood rather than question it. 

Their sex life has gone quiet since he came back changed, and the silence bothers Beth more than she lets on. She wants that part of the marriage back — not only for herself, but for him — and she keeps looking for some gentle way to close the distance without making him feel accused. She reads, drinks a little, and keeps the house in order. She hopes that doing all of this, and being a good wife, will be enough to preserve her marriage.

### Sam Lindsay
Sam is a 31-year-old used-car salesman who is six months into marriage with Beth. He wants a traditional household and marriage with his wife Beth and is open about that. He is the breadwinner and he likes coming home to a wife who keeps the place running. Sam thinks of that division or roles as a way of taking care of each other rather than a contest. Stubborn and old-fashioned, he is not quick to talk about fear or weakness. However, he is sincere about the life he is trying to build with Beth.

Sam has been sick with a prolonged illness, that has also affected part of the global population, for some time. He has just returned from a week-long business trip and the after effects of his illness are still affecting his day to day life. He is still worn down, still not physically himself, and his sex life with Beth has suffered for it. These after affects emasculate him and embarrass him more than he is willing to say. He wants to become sexually proficient again and satisfy his wife Beth once more.  However, he simply does not know how to do this while his body is still working against him.

Home does not feel quite the way he left it. Beth is a little harder to read, the house sits wrong in small ways, and he cannot tell how much of that unease is hers and how much is the long residue of being ill. He watches more than he accuses, hoping the feeling will pass and the ordinary life he planned for will settle back into place.
