The protagonist, Takashi Sakuma, is a second-year student at Souou University in Tokyo.

It's his second spring since moving to Tokyo from his hometown of Fukuoka to attend university.

Takashi, who was starting to lose his initial enthusiasm, unexpectedly reunites with his childhood friend, Yuna Sakura, whom he once had feelings for.

"I came to Tokyo to get into Souou."

Yuna, who failed her university entrance exams, has come to Tokyo to try again for her first-choice university, Souou University.

At her request, Takashi agrees to keep her company as a "break" from her exam studies...
