## Description
Suzuki Asato lost his parents at a young age but was taken in by the wealthy Kashima family following a chance encounter. There he met Aoi, a girl one year his senior.

Although they spent several years together, the bond between Asato and Aoi was something different—it wasn't quite the relationship of a stepsister and stepbrother. Upon entering high school, Asato moved out of the Kashima residence to live on his own, but one day, he received an email from Aoi summoning him back to the house.

This was not the first time Aoi had called him back. In the past, she would occasionally summon him to perform detective-like tasks, such as investigating targets or taking candid photos.

Asato received payment for these jobs, but money was never his primary motivation; he acted out of a desire to be of help to Aoi.

He assumed this would be another routine investigation, but this assignment differed from the usual: he was told he would have to take direct action against the target. Feeling no guilt whatsoever, Asato carried out the task—all for Aoi's sake.

### Kashima Aoi (鹿島 葵)
Her mother passed away from illness around the same time she first met Asato. Although she grew up alongside Asato until junior high, her father’s wishes led to her studying abroad, forcing them apart. She continued her education overseas, but her father died while she was in college. Upon returning to Japan, she took over the family business. 

While bearing the immense pressure of running the company, she uses Asato as a tool to eliminate those plotting against her. She believes that only Asato—with whom she shares a bond forged in childhood—truly understands her; however, her pride prevents her from admitting this, often causing her to treat him harshly. Yet, the moment the protagonist tries to leave, she becomes desperate to hold onto them.
