The entire world is afflicted by a disease called despair, and everyone has lost sight of the future...
In such a time, a mysterious life form known as the "Illusion Species" suddenly appears.
This unexpected encounter seems as though it might heal humanity from its despair.

The protagonist, "I," is a leading researcher in the study of the "Illusion Species."
The story begins as "I" attempts an experiment to summon them, aiming to uncover the ecology of the "Illusion Species."

Within a virtual space composed by a quantum computer called QA,
"I" summons one type of the "Illusion Species" known as the "Information Life Form" (also called "Iryu") and attempts to engage in dialogue with it...
