## Description
The story takes place in the first 20 years of the Showa era, during the last few months of the war that engulfed the world. In a secret Imperial Army research facility, experiments were being conducted to revive soldiers who had been injured and left unable to live as normal human beings. However, these experiments were also aimed at using these soldiers until they completely expired. The only success of these experiments was a young girl named Rei, who had a terminal illness and was being housed at a sanatorium in Izu. A young genius scientist named Ozaki used her congenital immune deficiency to achieve cross-species organ transplants between humans and pigs, resulting in Rei losing everything that made her a girl in exchange for her life. This is a record of the last few months of the unfortunate girl's life and the events that took place around her.

## Characters
### Ozaki (尾崎)
He is a member of the “Project for the Return of Wounded and Injured Soldiers with Alternative Human Organs” and a member of the military.

He is a technical captain in the Imperial Navy. He is an expert in immunology, cardiology, and surgery. He has mixed feelings about the treatment of his “work” and “Rei,” but does not reveal them publicly.

However, since “Rei” and “Kaon” are experimental samples necessary for the advancement of his research, he will do anything to keep them alive. Basically, he has no morals and puts his own inquisitiveness above all else.

### Morita Kaon (森田 華音)
The sub heroine.  She is a nurse (military nurse) in an old-fashioned nurse's uniform. She is always taciturn, and when she speaks out, she does so in a definitive tone, but she is obedient to Ozaki's orders.

Kaon is one of Ozaki's “works,” and organs from the human body of “Rei” have been transplanted into her. He has also conducted several other experiments on Kaon.

The results sometimes surface in the form of physical illness or loss of mental equilibrium. She worships Ozaki, and her jealousy of Rei's beauty and the way Ozaki treats her leads her to madness.

She is a girl who is polite in her language and has even mastered the etiquette of a nobleman, but her intelligence has regressed, perhaps due to the effects of her surgery.

Stimulated by the repeated experiments and the intensified play, she loses the last of her mind and her life is reaching its end.
