## Description
Two alchemists, who shared the same dreams and aspirations, formed a strong bond. They spent their lives doing research, hoping that one day they can enrich people's lives and make the world full of happiness. After several years, they finally gave birth to a new creation: A homunculus that can live outside of a flask.

The alchemist who started the research was delighted to know that their creation will be a better partner for humans and make them happy. However, he learned that his own partner and only friend had proposed the king to use the homunculi as weapons, and the government accepted, giving him a large sum of money and a position in the service of the royal family.

― "If we use the homunculi in the war, we can reduce a lot of casualties, and if we can expand our territory, our lives will be enriched! This is the most effective way to use our homunculus, it'll make everyone happy!"

Feeling angry and betrayed, the alchemist denounced his friend and appealed directly to the king to prevent the use of the homunculi in the war. However, he was stripped of his position and was banished from the royal capital.

Several years had passed since then. 

Even though he heard rumors that the war was over, the alchemist is still unable to heal his emotional wounds, and spends his days living in apathy. Until one day, when he went to a landfill in the forest and found an abandoned "sack" containing a "girl."

## Characters
### Rakels (ラケルス)
An alchemist.

He created the homunculus to be a better partner for humans and make them happy. However, he was betrayed by his best friend, and the homunculus was decided to be use as a weapon for the war. Thus, many homunculi were created and sent to the battlefields.

Due to the fact that his creation was used for the war, he was in despair. In addition, since the creation of a single homunculus required a large amount of money, the government imposed heavy taxes which caused the people to suffer, and made him feel guilty.

Because of this "guilt", he thought that his presence would make the people, and even the homunculi unhappy, so he decided to avoid contact with anyone and return to his hometown, a fishing village. He has been living in seclusion since then.

Before being picked up by [url=/c112744]Rakels[/url], she was sent to the battlefield as a "tool" for the army. After the war was over, they no longer needed her, so she was sold to a certain merchant as a "commodity." Since the homunculus has a short lifespan, no one was willing to spend a lot of money on a product that would be expired soon, so she remained unsold. No longer wanting to carry this baggage, the merchant dumped Mel at a landfill in the forest.

A few days later, Rakels happened to be passing by the landfill. He met Mel, and took her with him.
