## Description
Ayase Reiji, used to be his high school's soccer champ. However, he made the choice to give up soccer when he went into his sophomore year of university. On the day he finally comes to terms with himself over his reasons for quitting the sport and decides that he should pursue it again, he gets in an accident on his motorbike.

The accident was bad, and Reiji was rushed to an urgent operation, and was fortunate enough to come through the operation all right. However, he will still have to spend a while in the hospital recuperating from his injuries, with the knowledge that now that he had finally decided to return to soccer, his life as a soccer player is now over.

Now Reiji passes his days in recuperation at the hospital, meeting five other boys that are in the same hospital ward, each with their own troubles. Can perhaps Reiji build up a relationship with one of these boys, and begin a new take on life?

### Ayase Reiji (綾瀬 麗司)
Reiji is the main character of the story, a sophomore in a prestigious private university who was an esteemed soccer player in highschool. He was injured in a traffic accident and is now rehabilitating in the hospital, upset that his life as a soccer player is over. He also mourns for his brother Kazuya, who shared his dreams of soccer, and blames himself for his brother's death.

He visits his mother in the hospital's mental ward often, where she is staying from going mad over the death of Akira's father. He has a strong sense of responsibility, since he takes care of his younger siblings due to the absense of their parents.

He yearns to know more about the outside world, feeling stuck behind the white hospital walls. He's from a rich family, but his parents never have the time to visit him, instead sending him gifts, but he longs to have someone around to talk to, and Reiji fills in this role.

Reiji helps to teach him soccer techniques on their visits.

He was raised by strict parents, but failed his exams to a private school on purpose to revolt. He is Reiji's neighbor, and comes to visit Reiji in his sickroom often, to receive tutoring from him, even though often he doesn't need it.

Although he has many women admirers due to his appearance and status, he treats them very coldly; he seems to have more of a liking for the young boys he sees in the hospital ward.
