Wishing that she had never even existed, Mishiro Usui threw herself into the lake. When she came to, she found herself in the Mirror World, a mysterious place between heaven and hell. There, her own reflection instructed her to find and break all the mirrors in this world to recover her lost memories and move on. She is a quiet, despondent girl carrying heavy psychological trauma.

[spoiler]In reality, he is Ryotaro Sengoku, Mishiro's uncle (the brother of her mother, Chika). He tragically died before the events of the game due to a fire at his workplace, and his wandering soul ended up in the Mirror World.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]In life, Utsuro was born out of a tragic family situation and was eventually killed by her own mother, Tamaki. Her death devastated her only friend, Yuzu. After her death, Utsuro became the original creator and ruler of the Mirror World, trapping wandering souls inside it.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]In reality, Yuzu ended up committing suicide by drowning near Mirror Lake due to the psychological pressure and bullying. She keeps her tragic past hidden while secretly searching for Utsuro Hinohara.[/spoiler]
