Originally intending to serve only for the initial semester, Kazami Sora extended his role as the health counselor at Saika Girls' Academy into the subsequent term. 
Though his erstwhile travel companion, Shirobana, stays as his aide, their shared domicile at the hot spring inn, Shikisai Home, is now a chapter closed.
Having fulfilled the heartfelt task of guiding his sister to her final rest, Sora now walks a life shaped more by his own desires than by family obligations.
Perceiving this personal transition with intuitive understanding, Shirobana opts to step back, watching Sora from a respectful distance—much like his late sister Yuka once did.

As autumn arrives, the academy brims with a spectrum of educational activities—from experiential learning amidst lavender fields to an eagerly awaited festival in collaboration with sister schools.
Amidst this fast-paced tapestry of events, a novel enigma joins the seven school mysteries: whispered tales of an ogre haunting the nocturnal campus, allegedly laying waste to the school's surroundings. 
Convinced that a Tamabito may be the culprit, Sora assumes his Okuribito role to unravel this unsettling lore, aided by his reliable confidante and convivial drinking companion, the academy's in-house physician Otohime.

### Kazami Sora (風見 蒼空)
Sora works at Saika Girls' School as a temporary school nurse and counselor. Despite his lack of certification, he is a skilled medical professional.

Besides the health expertise, Sora has solid spiritual senses; he can detect the presence of souls. Relying on these visions, he travels as an Okuribito* to send souls to the afterlife.
Unfortunately, he has a terrible sense of direction and gets lost easily.

Sora belongs to a school of Okuribito called Mutori and is the master of Kotodama (spirits language).

*Okuribito (送り人; lit. sender) is a title for those whose profession is to send souls back to the afterlife.
The existence of Okuribito is unknown to the general public. They are, however, considered to be national civil servants.
