## Description
In an alternate history, romance and chivalry sweep across the American continents as kings and queens wage wars for the ultimate throne—the American Throne.

Investigate potential subversion along the European frontier. Such is the mission that high-ranking Praetor Quinn Smith and her captain Nathan Barnes are given by the Senate in distant Ottawa, Canada. A false mission that Quinn believes is a plot to purge her from the political heart of the Republic of Canada. Thwarted by her political enemies, the determined and driven Quinn intends to make a name for herself in Europe before she sails back to the Americas and campaigns for the highest political rung possible—the office of the Consul.

Deep in France, she reacquaints with the mild-mannered yet disturbing Commander Beckett Morrison, who offers her a once in a lifetime opportunity that delivers her ever closer to her aspiration. Ambitious as ever, Quinn accepts and sets herself on a path that unintentionally reveals her most powerful trump card, a secret she has never told anyone. A secret that she stole from the formidable ruler, lords, and knights of the Kingdom of the United States of America.
