## Description
Nine people have been kidnapped by a mysterious person called Zero and are forced to participate in a survival game called the "Nonary Game". Each player has a bracelet numbered 1–9, which they must use to pass through doors numbered 1–9 to reach the exit before 9 hours run out and the ship in which they are in sinks. Various puzzles must be solved in order to advance through the ship and reach the exit, while uncovering the mysteries behind the Nonary Game.

### Junpei (淳平)
The main protagonist of the game. After he wakes up to find he's been transported to a strange location, he takes it upon himself to figure out all the cryptic clues and ensure the survival of everyone trapped with him. His bracelet number is 5 and is the only one not to choose his own codename due to June accidentally mentioning his name.

### Ichimiya (一宮)
A tall, grave older man with a streak of gray in his hair, he is often the voice of calm reason when events descend into chaos. His bracelet number is 1, hence the codename Ace.

[spoiler]Gentarou Hongou is the main antagonist of the game, and was ultimately responsible for the event that resulted in its necessity. Despite this, he is actually not the mastermind behind the game's events. 

Hongou suffers from prosopagnosia, which is the inability to recognize faces. It is never clarified how he acquired the condition, nor what type it is. However, it's implied that he both cannot "see" faces nor distinguish between them. [/spoiler]
