Alex Valse is the general of the Light Army of the magic nation of Zeth.

The youngest member of the Valse family, one of the oldest and most powerful noble families in all of Zeth, Alex enjoyed a highly privileged upbringing. Unlike most members of the notoriously corrupt and cruel nobility of Zeth, however, Alex grew up to become a kindhearted and gentle young man who showed empathy for all people regardless of their social standing.

While attending Zeth's most prestigious magic academy, Alex was hailed as a prodigy in the Magic Arts. As a student, Alex was praised by his teachers for his talent as a mage, his dedication to his studies and his excellent upholding of the school's code of conduct. Alex's notoriety within the academy as an excellent student allowed him to become the private tutor of Magic the Gandhi, the princess of Zeth, when she began attending it. The two became incredibly close during this time, and started dating after a few months of getting to know each other.

### Boy
[spoiler]Dark Rance (ダーク・ランス) is the result of the union between [url=/c735]Rance[/url] and the Devil [url=/c25631]Ferris[/url]. He was conceived during the events of Rance 5D, making him Rance's first official child in the canonical timeline.

Being a Devil himself, he ages quickly and already possesses a body of a human pre-teen by the events of Rance VI. Because of his birth, Feliss was sentenced to a thousand-year punishment, since a Devil giving birth to a human's child is considered an offense to the race. His initial goal was to kill his father Rance, drag his soul down to the Devil Realm and force him to save his mother.

### Sill Plain (シィル・プライン)
Sill is a slave purchased by the great adventurer [url=/c735]Rance[/url] in the year LP0001 prior to the events of Rance 01. Rance purchased her for 15,000 GOLD and has been forced to travel alongside him wherever he goes since then. However, Sill developed strong romantic feelings for him and, even though the "Absolute Obedience Magic" once cast on her has long since worn off, she remains single-mindedly loyal to Rance regardless. She was originally from a rich family in Zeth but under "certain circumstances" ended up in the slave market sold to Rance. 

She is capable of using both offensive and healing magic, in addition to the creation of magic barriers. She is also known to have a large knowledge of worldly culture and history, as well as an understanding of many creatures. This is apparently due to her studying from a wide variety of books at a young age due to her origins from a noble family.

As the King is often absent, she is usually the one actually running Zeth and tries to push as much as she can the King's egalitarian agenda, though she is often hampered by the efforts of Zeth's ministers and secretaries.

She is extremely capable both as a magician and a ruler, but her choice of fashion is utterly ridiculous.

Copandon Dott is the president of the Dott Trading Company and also the ruler of the Copa Empire, which was formerly a small country near M Land that she bought for a large sum of money, but under her skilled management, it has rapidly developed into a powerful metropolis and an important part of the Free Cities Alliance.

She was born in Portugal, a rich mercantile city where she learned the basic tenets of business and bargaining. She is a naturally gifted fortune diviner, and despite it being a highly forbidden act, when she was very young she used her omikuji skill on herself to discover her fate. On that day she learned with horror that she was cursed with Misfortune, and in her panic rewrote it as Great Fortune before forgetting the whole ordeal.

Ever since then however, she grew obsessed with the concept of luck and fortune, and she has spent much of her adult life scouring the world to find ways to increase them, such as finding lucky artifacts or the legendary land of fortune. Her greatest mission however was to find a man with "Great Fortune", an exceptional individual with amazing luck and destined for great things, in order to marry him and tie her fate to his.

Papaya Server is a powerful mage and the greatest magic researcher in the Kingdom of Zeth, titles that earned her a position as one of the Four Lords of Zeth. As such she established her own Papaya Research Institute in the Jump Tower that was under her control. She was born into the noble Server family as the daughter of the far less magically talented Nelson Server. She was originally a kind, innocent and gentle girl and a close friend of the talented Lord [url=/c93218]Yamada Chizuko[/url]. 

Even as a child Papaya showed an amazing potential and intellectual capacity, and as her talent was recognized she took and succeeded the test required for becoming one of the Four Lords of Zeth and become one of the most important figures of the Magic Kingdom. Soon after this her father Nelson Server, who was as proud as jealous of his daughters' achievements, requested her to give away the position to him, but Papaya refused and a breach was formed between the two that distanced them, resulting in her father developing an intense hate for mages and disowning her.

### Rance (ランス)
A fearsome warrior known throughout the land, not just for his impressive battle skills but also for his shameless womanizing ways. While he's driven more by his primal instincts than noble ideals, his actions often result in unexpected heroism.

Even though he's rough around the edges, Rance often ends up doing good deeds on his many adventures, even if he doesn't intend to. His exploits are varied, including battling fearsome demons, standing against rival nations, and even helping out those in distress.
Unironically, Rance's disorderly conduct frequently lands him in hot water. His relentless chase of carnal indulgences tends to create more facepalm moments than applaudable ones, adding to his already infamous reputation.

On his frequent adventures, Rance is not a lone wolf. He is often accompanied by a cast of unique characters who add their own spice to the narrative. However, these companions, notably his enslaved romantic interest Sill Plain among others, often find themselves grappling with his audacious behavior. Despite the hurdles, this diverse crew manages to unite their skills, forming a solid team crucial to their shared escapades.

### Foot Rot (フット・ロット)
Foot Rot is the 3rd chair of the 8 Knights of the Pentagon, the single largest anti-magic revolutionary group in all of Zeth, during its final year of operation.

A native of the Free Cities Alliance, Foot worked as a mercenary throughout most of his life. While taking a job in Zeth, he was left disgusted by the poor treatment of non-magic users within the country and decided to remain in the nation in order to assist them. He quickly joined the ranks of the Pentagon, where his experience as a mercenary allowed him to rise through the ranks and achieve a position within the 8 Knights, the eight highest ranking members of the organization. Kinggeorge Violae is the 4th chair of the 8 Knights of the Pentagon, the single largest anti-magic revolutionary group in all of Zeth, during its final year of operation.

Born into a prestigious Zeth noble house, Kinggeorge was something of a black sheep in his family due to his extraordinarily low intelligence and complete and utter lack of any sort of ability in the Magic Arts. After failing to pass the magic exam that determined whether a person became a first or second class citizen at the end of his school career, Kingeorge's family's influence allowed for him to take it three additional times. Despite being given multiple second chances to improve his performance, Kinggeorge failed the test each time, forcing him to become a second class citizen despite his pedigree.

[spoiler]He ascended to the throne at the age of 40. He is very charismatic, and is the top magician in all of Zeth. Not only adept in magic, he is also physically very strong. However, he tends to act upon impulse and emotions, and was struggling to fight off the cunning conservatives of Zeth. Gandhi was foretold the future from the court fortune teller [url=/c56511]Arcy Julietta[/url] about the fate of the world. Upon hearing the prophecy, he left the nation under the reins of [url=/c93218]Yamada Chizuko[/url], and set off to travel the world as Punisher Mito (征伐のミト, Seibatsu no Mito), taking out villains as a vigilante and looking for the Hero to save the world. He sent [url=/c98402]Kaoru Quincy Kagura[/url] into Ice Flame, in hopes to straighten the corruption in Zeth from the rebel side.[/spoiler]

### Rocky Bank (ロッキー・バンク)
Rocky Bank is a former non-magic using slave of the magic nation of Zeth and the self-appointed servant of the warrior Rance.

Born and raised as a slave, Rocky spent the majority of his life being sold from master to master. These owners varied wildly in terms of their treatment of Rocky, with one being kind enough to teach him how to read, a rare skill for the average slave to possess, while others were outright abusive towards him. At some point, Rocky was sold by his then current master to Zeth's secretary of education [url=/c98805]Radon Alphorne[/url], where he was immediately pitted alongside dozens of other slaves to fight to the death against Monsters in his arena. Rocky became the underling of Big G, the most powerful slave fighter in the arena, and continued to work under him as an errand boy for some time.

Rodney Rodney is the 5th chair of the 8 Knights of the Pentagon, the single largest anti-magic revolutionary group in all of Zeth.

Of the 8 Knights, Rodney has the least amount of information known about his background prior to joining the Pentagon. However, his extensive knowledge of chemistry and general intelligence suggested that he came from a highly educated background, making it likely that he was born into a first class family and was reduced to second class citizenship only after failing the magic exam. At some point, he was persuaded by the words of [url=/c99001]Nelson Server[/url] to join the Pentagon. As Nelson had been steadily pushing the organization into a more radical and violent background around the time when Rodney joined, he succeeded in gaining a high standing in the group due to the effectiveness of the debilitating chemical compounds he had developed when used during raids.
