## Description
A regional amusement park, [Tsurumiku Attraction Park]—commonly known as [Tsurupa]—has fallen on hard times due to the emergence of powerful competitors and now faces the threat of closure.

Although it is barely managing to stay open, due to rural depopulation and a declining birthrate coupled with an aging population, the staff is small and consists almost entirely of seniors, leading to frequent sudden, unscheduled closures.

One day, a burly-looking man applied in response to a job posting that had been up for some time, even though the management had all but given up hope.

The man arrived with a group of friends, and when they declared, “If you provide us with basic food, shelter, and clothing, we’ll take over management ourselves,” the owner saw a glimmer of hope for turning the situation around and decided to completely overhaul the staff.

The men were given the park’s management office as a place to live. They made improvements to make it more livable and set out to manage the park 24 hours a day while working to streamline operations.

The owner, who had hoped “at least things would stabilize,” was overjoyed to see business gradually improving and ended up leaving everything entirely in their hands.

However, unbeknownst to him, “Tsuru-Pa” was beginning to transform into a terrifying, shadowy amusement park—

## Characters
### Kawakami Keiichirou (川上 敬一郎)
A middle-aged man who ends up working and living at [Tsuru-Pa].

He is a former soldier who went to the U.S., enlisted in the U.S. military, and gained combat experience overseas, but was dishonorably discharged after assaulting a superior officer. He returned to Japan with fellow soldiers who had also been discharged.
After drifting from place to place, he sees an opportunity to make a home with his friends at a run-down amusement park—a vast, empty space with no visitors—and jumps at the job opening.

At first, he lived a carefree life, but as he ran short on daily expenses and grew hungry for excitement, he took it upon himself to improve operations.
While maintaining normal operations during the day, he organized horror events at night using existing attractions and hastily constructed mazes.
Word of mouth gradually increased foot traffic, and more young people began making the trip from the city, leading to a sharp rise in nighttime visitors in particular.
He began viewing female visitors—who were terrified and running in panic—as prey, attacking them to satisfy his craving for thrills.

Her visit to [Tsuru-Pa] was decided on a whim while she was still at school, so she didn’t go home but instead hitched a ride with a graduate and came straight here to hang out.
There are three girls in the group, including Aki, and since she’s the cutest of the three, she becomes the target.

Drawn to her childhood friend, who hadn’t changed a bit, she began contacting him again, and they eventually got married.

Although she sometimes feels frustrated with her husband—who is rather shy and a bit unreliable—they have built a good marriage.
