### Shouon
The protagonist. A young male Fukuin servant on Rokkenjima in the years approaching 1986. Something about his whole situation is a bit off. Shouon is his "blessed name," and only a handful of other servants know his real name. Speaks fluent English, though it isn't clear how he would ever have had the time or motivation to learn.
