## Description
A lone maiden with the ability to perceive the eminent future traverses to the abandoned island Haikyo with a single task, to exterminate every Kogori Demon that inhabits the place. 

On this island, clad in ambiguity as extensive as the mysterious electric towers erected about the premises, lies a meager population, and these ghastly apparitions, exclusive to the island, birthed from the strong desire of their hosts.

Immediately upon arrival, Mimei met Yato, a man who shares her same goal, albeit for a very different reason. That is, to instead consume these demons. This story tells of how these two parties, borderline foes, yet still companions, passed their days side by side.

A young woman from a small northern village who, armed with a snake's eye umbrella and the unique ability to see the future, sets out to eliminate the Kogori Demons plaguing a remote island. Outwardly calm, yet inwardly insecure, she soon discovers her task to be far more challenging than she ever could have imagined.

A mysterious young man who, for his own reasons, is committed to killing the Kogori afflicting the abandoned isle of Haikyo. What he lacks in social graces, he makes up for in his skill as a swordsman and naturalist. He and Mimei have a contentious relationship from the moment they first meet.

A young child living with [url=/c89719]her mother[/url] in Haikyo island. She agreed to let Mimei stay at her house, knowing that Mimei was a newcomer of this island.
Since her father died and her mother often left the house to work for days, Hana is quite skillful when it comes to doing housework and cooking. She sees things better than most adults around her, therefore she can a little bit eccentric sometimes, which is surprising for other people.
Has concern over her frizzy hair. She also dislikes summer because that's when her beloved father died.

Calm and friendly. Being the head of the family after her husband's death, she always keeps her composure under any circumstances that may arise. She also has the tendency of working people out as much as she could, especially young man (like [url=/c89665]Souichirou[/url])
Loves summer and kuzu'manjuu - a Japanese sweet. 
[spoiler]In her chapter, it is revealed that Nagi first met [url=/c89664]Yato[/url] when he was a boy wandering around the riverbank, trying to find a boat to get to the main island. In the end, she called him out and made him her luggage carrier in exchange for trips to the main island.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Having regretted over forcing him to go to the mountain together with her that night[/spoiler], she is determined to exorcise Kogori demon on her own after Souichirou left the island.
Born in a family that is excellent in writing charms and talismans, however, she does not have much self-confidence in her ability. Having a straightforward and stubborn personality, when it comes to fulfilling her purpose, Kyouko is willing to take any measures.

### Yashiro Souichirou (矢代 総一郎)
Being the eldest son of the Yashiro family, Souichirou has been taught how to exorcise Kogori demon since childhood. However, [spoiler]after the events in the mountain with the red child[/spoiler] he started doubting that he does not have that exorcism power at all. After that, he left Haikyo with regret for a while, but upon hearing that Kogori is coming back to the island, he decided to try again and went back home. 
Basically a kind and polite person, but sometimes a little bit boastful. Has the belief of "what will happen, will happen" and a flexible lifestyle, but when it comes to fulfilling his own strong desire, Souichirou would quietly look for an opportunity to strike, without taking any step forward.

Decent at taking care of people. As Souichirou and Kyouko's babysitter, she used to play with them a lot since their childhood. Atori is also a very patient person, however, she is willing to take action, shall the line of endurance be crossed.
She also loves red flowers.

### Obaasan (おばあさん)
An elegant, old lady.
She is a monster that lives within the mountain, with a rumor that she has devoured all people entering her territory.
Beside Yato, she has been adopting lost and abandoned children for a long time. She is very strict in terms of children raising. Yato's current name "Yato" originated from the old youkai tale she once told him.
Has a habit of making kimono and becomes very skillful. She is also indulged in the reminiscence of her being the mountain's ruler a long time ago.

### Sakaino Jinpachi (境野 甚八)
Jinpachi is a Shinto priest, also the last man of the Sakaino family, as his death marked their extinction.
He kept the truth about the forgotten mountain demon for himself, protecting the cave where it was sealed. [spoiler]He decided to raise Yato not long before the death of Yato's parents.[/spoiler]
A strong, knowledgeable and friendly person. He used to tell Souichirou and Kyouko a lot of Kogori extermination stories, back in their childhood. 
On the other hand, Jinpachi lacks sensitivity, [spoiler]therefore he often found himself puzzled about suitable things to do as a father, to his child Yato.[/spoiler]

### Tetsu (テツ)
A man came from the main island to investigate the demon that tells the future. Being an old friend of [url=/c89719]Nagi[/url]'s husband, he also has a bit of knowledge about the demons.
Tetsu prepared a variety of materials and tools for the purpose of challenging the demon himself, but [url=/c89666]Kyouko[/url], who provided him accommodation, found out that they are all useless afterward.
A gentle and strong man, dislike being called "old man". He also helped out as an engineer during his time in Haikyo.
