## Description
Synthetic Girlfriend is a visual novel about  sentient androids and their rights, their ability to "feel" and how humans would possibly interact with them in the future. It also touches on topics like finding yourself, finding purpose in life and connecting with others.

## Characters
### Yuri Nagai
A Computer Science and Programming student who ends up working as an intern in his father's company. Extremely logical, always overthinking and second-guessing himself. Doesn't know how to properly deal with people and stutters a lot.
Half Russian and Half Japanese.

### Aaila
An android that can pass as human if you ignore her robotic movements, the seams on her skin, and the way she speaks. Aaila's liquid brain is the first one of its kind, being able to learn almost indefinitely, like a human one. She has special sensors in her hands and in other places to simulate the sense of touch.

### Eri
An anthropomorphic robot built by Nagai Robotics. She wants to become 'more human' and doesn't like anyone pointing out the fact that she's a robot. Her eyes have the ability to light up like flashlights and she can see in the dark.

It's not that she doesn't like cats, but cats don't like her, so she hates them in return.

### Mikaela Lind
Yuri's childhood friend.
She has a prosthetic arm and robotic implants that she acquired after surviving an almost fatal car crash when she was a teenager. Mika started working at Nagai Robotics as one of Aaila's QA testers, but now works as an administrative assistant and delivery driver.
