Hinata lives with his mother Mayoi and his older sister Akeno, while training as a cook at the family’s Café Carroll. Even though his childhood friend Mimi causes a ruckus every day, he leads a peaceful and happy life while aiming to become a full-fledged cook.

However, his mother got in an accident one day and he had to take over running the family business until she recovered.
