## Description
Touki is a second-year student at Murakumo Academy who is training as a katana smith. He attracts a lot of attention since his ancestor was a famous katana smith, but due to a certain reason, he spent all his time playing with machines instead.

The appearance one day of the ‘goddess’ Ayase, who claimed to be the guardian deity of his family home, was the trigger for many fated meetings:

The black-haired transfer student Saya, who he met on a moonlit night.

His childhood friend Tsubaki, who is the school’s strongest swordswoman.

His kind kouhai Shion, who has a habit of breaking her weapons.

The full-of-curiosity ojousama Freesia, who is an aspiring blacksmith.

These meetings rekindled his passion for swordsmithing, and his special bonds with the girls grew stronger by way of the swords which he crafted for them.

### Sanjou Touki (三城 刀輝)
[spoiler]Touki has the qualities of a [i]Saniwa[/i], a person who judges which god or spirit has taken possession of a miko (Shinto). Because this quality, he can be a vessel for any spirit like Magatsumi, Ayase, or rakshasa (a type of evil spirit). But Rakshasa are a special spirit exclusive for Kamiizumi Family, and since Touki has a blood relative with the Kamiizumi Family, he can awaken Rakshasa's blood. This Rakshasa's blood is the cause for his trauma against forging katana, and feelings of guilt towards murdering his childhood friend. He also possesses the qualities of a warrior (戦人), tailoring to a high combat effectiveness.[/spoiler]

### Ayase (綾瀬)
Ayase is a guardian deity for Sanjou Family [spoiler]but that is because Aihara Family work. Her origin is a curse from Byakko after Byakko killed by Kamiizumi's swordsman using a katana that forged by Sanjou blacksmith and blessed with spiritual power to become spirit sword by Aihara's shrine maiden at that time. Later that curse weakened by Aihara's shrine maiden and sealed to iron mirror as a guardian deity for Sanjou Family. But not all curse can sealed to iron mirror, the proof is like curse in Touki's body, that later named herself as Magatsumi though she said that she didn't have a name[/spoiler]
