## Description
Rance 4.2: Angel-gumi is the second part of the story that began in Rance 4.1: O-Kusuri Koujou o Sukue! rather than an all-new Rance adventure. The hero continues to investigate the weird occurrences connected to the Happiness Medicine Factory. Since the story picks up directly where it ended in the prequel, Rance begins his adventure going against the Angel Army.

Nothing has changed gameplay-wise; as before, interaction with the game world is done through menu commands everywhere, including dungeons. The combat system has also remained exactly the same as in predecessor.

## Characters
### Rance (ランス)
A fearsome warrior known throughout the land, not just for his impressive battle skills but also for his shameless womanizing ways. While he's driven more by his primal instincts than noble ideals, his actions often result in unexpected heroism.

Even though he's rough around the edges, Rance often ends up doing good deeds on his many adventures, even if he doesn't intend to. His exploits are varied, including battling fearsome demons, standing against rival nations, and even helping out those in distress.
Unironically, Rance's disorderly conduct frequently lands him in hot water. His relentless chase of carnal indulgences tends to create more facepalm moments than applaudable ones, adding to his already infamous reputation.

On his frequent adventures, Rance is not a lone wolf. He is often accompanied by a cast of unique characters who add their own spice to the narrative. However, these companions, notably his enslaved romantic interest Sill Plain among others, often find themselves grappling with his audacious behavior. Despite the hurdles, this diverse crew manages to unite their skills, forming a solid team crucial to their shared escapades.

### Archibald (アーチボルト)
[spoiler]Archibald is the leader of the Gal Monster rights terrorist group the Angel Army, the older brother of the Tenshi Sect Monk [url=/c2880]Genri[/url] and the main antagonist of Rance 4.1 and 4.2.

His real name is Houri, but he considers it ugly and prefers to go by Archibald. Unlike his scruffy and crass brother, he has a handsome and refined appearance, almost exaggeratedly so, sporting beautiful long blonde hair and extravagant clothing. He fled the Tenshi Sect when he was ordered to shave his head to serve as a monk, showing him to be very vain.

He is incredibly popular with women due to his looks, with almost all of the female members of the Angel Army expressing interest in him and some going so far as to swear off all men besides him. Despite this, he is uninterested in regular women, considering them "filthy" and "impure" and is instead solely attracted to Gal Monsters. His attraction to Gal Monsters reaches the point of obsession, as his motivation for forming the Angel Army was entirely to create his own harem of them.[/spoiler]

She's basically an orange-haired organic magical android that serves as a pet to Rance, aiding him when adventuring and serving as some sort of watchdog for his house. She was originally created to be the ultimate toy for a child after the original, Athena 1.0, ended up being too human-like and ran off with a Ham Bambara monster.

Genri is a rugged monk of the Tenshi Sect who has crossed paths with Rance multiple times. He is notorious for possessing a massive penis. 

Genri is a muscular man with a scruffy, unshaven appearance. As a monk of the Tenshi Sect, his head is shaved, revealing a distinct scar across his scalp, and he wears standard Tenshi robes. Despite his appearance, he is actually quite young, and is only two years older than Rance.

### Kisara Copley (キサラ・コプリ)
Kisara Copley is a notoriously talented adventurer from the Free Cities Alliance that took well-paid jobs of any kind. 

[spoiler]In the past, her parents ran a successful business on the Free Cities but through many misfortunes and deceptions from others, their company was soon left bankrupted and accumulated a massive debt over the years, reaching the absurd value of 4,000,000 GOLD. Filled with despair, her parents ended up hanging themselves and the debt was passed to their daughters. As a consequence for this, the creditors took Kisara's younger sister Rebecca Copley as payment, resulting in her becoming a Fukuman prostitute working for Pluepet. In order to pay the debt and free her sister from slavery, Kisara became an adventurer as means to acquire the financial support. However, despite being a fairly talented individual with solid fighting ability and skilled for adventuring, she found herself regularly deceived and tricked by those she trusted several times, resulting in her never being able to gather the money needed to pay the debt.[/spoiler]

Dangerous Bravo is a member of the Marishiten Assassination Brigade. He resembles a stereotypical punk, with a Mohawk-style hairdo and tattered clothing. He is never seen without his pet turtle by his side.

He has a fairly laid back personality when compared to his teammates, to the point of having friendly conversations with his assassination targets. He also seems to possess a good sense of humor, as he admits that he isn't really assassinating people if he makes his presence known to chat with them. Despite this, however, he is actually incredibly bloodthirsty and tends to laugh insanely when in the heat of battle.

Joseph is the Laboratory Manager of the 1st Lab in the Offices of Happiness Pharmaceutical, the company responsible for the creation of several medicinal drugs and that currently holds 50% of the accounts for the whole market.

He became the manager of one of the main Labs of this monstruous company at the outstanding age of 13 years old, and was deemed as a genius boy with an amazing intellect. He's always been subject of praise and many claimed that he was fated for greatness and, upon becoming the Manager of the 1st Lab of the Company, he developed an overinflated ego that resulted in him becoming an incredibly obnoxious and unpleasant person. He's extremely arrogant and looks down on all his assistants, mocking their incompetence as he managed to become the Manager with his young age, while others that are in his forties work for him. The only people he respects are the President [url=/c97875]Doharas Happiness[/url], who he holds great respect for due to his genius invention of the Seirogan, and the Manager of the 2nd Lab [url=/c97893]Rose[/url], with who he developed a crush for and works hard to get her attention.

Very little is known about Marishiten outside of his status as a professional killer, though his distinct armor implies that he may be of JAPANese origin. No records exist of who he is or where he comes from, and it is highly likely that the name "Marishiten" is simply an alias rather than his true identity.

She mostly showed up in front of Rance, and assisted him in live or death situations, being somewhat of a Guardian Angel for him during his adventure in which he coincidentally didn't take Sill Plain with him, but [url=/c25632]Athena 2.0[/url] instead.

She has a quite timid personality due to a lack of self-confidence, stemming from chronic insecurity over her appearance. Despite her natural beauty, for some reason she believes herself to be plain and unattractive, and she is surprised and embarrassed when Rance lavishes her with compliments. She gets along well with her subordinates in the Second Laboratory as well as her boss, [url=/c97875]Doharas Happiness[/url]. She has a cordial relationship with Joseph, who secretly has a crush on her, and is one of the few people he respects.

He seems to be unintelligent, as he accidentally gave away the identity of his employer to his assassination target. In general, he appears to be the kind of person who acts before thinking.

She's a cheerful and delightful young girl with great love and compassion towards all living beings. As one of the Four Holy Gal Monster, she's a Goddess with amazing abilities, being able to heal wounds and cure diseases with little effort, and her healing powers are leagues above even the greatest Human Healers in the world. Her greatest power is the unique ability of reviving someone from dead, though she can only use it once a year and said person must have died fairly recently.

### Sill Plain (シィル・プライン)
Sill is a slave purchased by the great adventurer [url=/c735]Rance[/url] in the year LP0001 prior to the events of Rance 01. Rance purchased her for 15,000 GOLD and has been forced to travel alongside him wherever he goes since then. However, Sill developed strong romantic feelings for him and, even though the "Absolute Obedience Magic" once cast on her has long since worn off, she remains single-mindedly loyal to Rance regardless. She was originally from a rich family in Zeth but under "certain circumstances" ended up in the slave market sold to Rance. 

She is capable of using both offensive and healing magic, in addition to the creation of magic barriers. She is also known to have a large knowledge of worldly culture and history, as well as an understanding of many creatures. This is apparently due to her studying from a wide variety of books at a young age due to her origins from a noble family.
