## Description
Summer Pockets is set on an isolated, rural and peaceful island on the Seto Inland Sea called Torishirojima, which has a population of about 2,000 people. The protagonist is Hairi Takahara, a young man not native to the island. Hairi grew up in an urban setting, but after an unpleasant incident he uses the recent death of his grandmother as an excuse to come to the island to take care of her estate sale. Once there, he gets to know four girls who are the focus of the story. They include Shiroha Naruse, who forgot her summer vacation; Ao Sorakado, who is pursuing the legends of the island; Kamome Kushima, a high-class girl looking for a pirate ship; and Tsumugi Wenders, a younger girl trying to find herself.

### Kamiyama Shiki (神山 識)
A travel-loving girl who has come to Torishirojima. She collects tall tales about oni around Japan and has come to visit the island to hear more about the legends of the oni that remain on the island. Although she says it’s her first time on the island, she also appears in places that islanders don’t know about.

She’s got great survival skills, especially regarding finding food to eat… or that’s supposed to be the case. Sometimes, she’s found collapsed over out of hunger. If you give her rice balls, she’ll listen to you.

[spoiler]She was abandoned by her parents in front of the Kamiyama shrine in Torishirojima. After being adopted by the Kamiyama priest, she was raised as a shrine maiden for the shrine by him. To repay what the islanders did for her, she tried to save them from the tsunami after hearing the Naruse maiden's prediction. However, it didn't go as planned, and she eventually ended up running away, ending up in the Tachibana of the Lost. She was trapped there for 150 years, eventually losing all her memories aside from her given name. These events eventually led to the shrine being renamed to the Naruse shrine, where it stands in the present.[/spoiler]

She is the protagonist's second cousin.
