## Description
This is the tale of Alexia, a princess, and Eli, a female military cadet—two best friends who have grown up supporting each other through thick and thin.

Our story begins as the First World War looms over a small European country. One day, a central diplomatic figure sends Alexia as an envoy to a great nation in the East: Anatolia, a large and fearsome empire that once threatened all of Europe.

There, the two women come face-to-face with the concubines of the Imperial Harem hidden deep within the palace... an event that sets an entirely new destiny into motion.

Torn between their duty and their hearts' true desires, what will they choose—and what will they leave behind?

The development of Les Grandes Odalisques was interrupted in October 2022. The project came back to life in August 2025 as "Réveil" under [Lateral](/p26028) which took over the rights of the game from [Kalmia8](/p3868). A crowdfunding was used to help with the funding.
