## Description
Echo is a small, isolated desert town located in the Southwest. It's seen better days; its businesses are closing, and its population is dwindling. 

During spring break, Chase, a young otter who grew up in Echo, is back for a school project aimed at documenting an event in the 1920's that may have led to the town's current state. He's joined by five friends, who grew up with him in Echo, taking the chance to have a little reunion. Unfortunately, Chase begins to realize that their memories of Echo may have been a bit rose-tinted. Being back in the town digs up old and painful memories; secrets that lead to rifts in the group that have been boiling under the surface for years. On top of that, Chase begins to realize that Echo itself may have its own secrets. Odd and unexplainable memories that he always blamed on an overactive childhood imagination may not have been imagined at all. 

Finally, an event is triggered that turns these fears into something much more tangible and dangerous. Chase is now forced into a situation in which he must help his friends either face or escape their demons. Either way, Echo is not keen on letting them go...

Chase Hunter is an otter who grew up in the town of Echo who now studies Journalism at Pueblo University. Over spring break, he returns to his hometown to document an event in the town's history for a project. He is joined by five childhood friends who use the project as an excuse to have a reunion.

### Carl Hendricks
Carl Hendricks was Chase's closest friend prior to high school, and shares ancestry with the founder of Echo, James Hendricks I. He also attended Pueblo University, and was roommates with Chase Hunter. He dropped out after one semester, and returned to live in Echo.

Carl maintains a relatively laidback and chilled demeanor. He frequently cracks jokes, and tends to spend most of his time hanging out at home, playing video games. He's typically non-judgmental, and often tends to poke fun at himself.

Flynn Moore is one of the main characters of "Echo". Flynn was born and raised in Echo to a Mormon family. He continues to live in Echo as Echo's town clerk for three years unopposed, and works at the town hall underneath his aunt, the town's mayor. 

Flynn has an infamously blunt and abrasive personality, not being afraid to speak his mind. Despite this, he often struggles with communicating his true intentions, choosing instead to remain quiet and aloof. He often displays sexual tendencies that may seem inappropriate, even among his closest friends.

She spent her life in an abusive family, which she ran away from when she became of age, with help of Chase. She is proud of her Meseta heritage and is willing to confront people who disrespect her culture, despite the bad blood between herself and her family.

Jenna is pragmatic and resourceful; she is likely the most well educated member of the group. While warm and reassuring, she can sometimes come across as cold and dispassionate.

### Leonardo Alvarez
Leonardo "Leo" Alvarez is a wolf and Chase's ex-boyfriend. He moved to Echo from El Salvador with his family at a young age. He quickly made friends with Jenna and Chase, and their group of three would grow over the following years, adding Carl, TJ, and Flynn. During high school, he began to date Chase.

Leo cherishes the memories of his childhood in Echo, and expresses wishes that the friend group could have remained closer in the years following high school. In 2015, after Chase had expressed plans to return to Echo during spring break for a school project, Leo organized the get-together with the rest of the friend group.

### Tobias Jedidiah Hess
TJ Hess is one of the main characters of "Echo". He was born in Wasatchua, a small town in Canada. He moved to Echo when he was six years old, after his father got a job surveying the land and wildlife in the area.

He is prone to fear and crying while under moderate amounts of stress. As a child, he had anxiety disorders for which he took medication. His normal demeanor, however, is happy, optimistic, and charitable. This sometime leads to the lynx's kindness being taken advantage of.
