## Description
Kusanagi Shuuma was living a life of an ordinary boy until one day he got suddenly abducted by one of the three vampire ringleaders - Iris Pumila. She revealed to him the secret of his ancestors - that he has vampire progenitor's blood coursing through his veins and that it is her destiny to awaken his true nature. Fortunately, Shuuma was able to escape from Pumila at that time and return to his ordinary daily life, but as a consequence of his encounter with her - his body has radically changed and he became a half-vampire. As a side effect of his sudden change, Shuuma obtained superhuman strenght and vampire's vitality but he also started having spontaneous vampiric impulses that are calling for him to suck blood of living creatures.

On top of all of that, Shuuma made a bunch of new bizarre acquaintances with random women from both human and vampire side:
- Maritima Malcolmia, the cute werewolf maid who was tasked by Shuuma's deceased father to restore the family she served to its former glory;
- Calendula Officinalis, a daughter of one of the three progenitor's families, who declared herself as a Shuuma's fiancee;
- Aoi Kamishiro, a tsundere vampire hunter sent from the Holy See's secret anti-vampire organization - the Rubina;
- Lycoris Radiata, an airheaded subordinate assassin sent by Pumila to abduct and capture Shuuma.

While dealing with all these women as well as his old female friends, Shuuma is trying to live not as a vampire, but as a human. Tangled in the midst of this web of conflicting intentions, Shuuma will have to use his vampiric powers despite his aversion to them to oppose the rising forces of evil. His ordinary everyday life of a simple boy is no more.

### Kusanagi Shuuma (草薙 柊真)
Shuuma lost his mother one month ago; his only blood relative. Before she passed away, he received a keepsake ring from her which he now wears as a necklace.

After coming to grips with this reality, a vampire named [url=/c34612]Iris[/url] abducts Shuuma in an attempt to "awaken" him. She claims that his deceased father was the head of Embroche: one of the original vampire families, and special within their world.

Shuuma now struggles with an impulse to suck blood, an aversion to sunlight, and a mysterious aura that is attracting many females to him. Still, he is trying to have a normal, human life. Since becoming a vampire though, many eccentric people have begun surrounding him.

### Calendula Officinalis (カレンデュラ・オフィシナリス)
She came to Japan from Racronia to be married to [url=/c39402]Shuuma[/url]. Calen is the 100th daughter in the Officinalis family, one of the three big households. Her marriage to Shuuma is arranged and thus for her, love is a low priority.

Calen was raised in the vampire society, and for this reason she can never understand why Shuuma doesn't try to drink from human beings. She is mature as a vampire, so she can control her impulse to feed.

When Calen first came to Japan, her naiveté was exposed because she wasn't aware of the differences between vampires and humans. Now after making a friend named [url=/c34613]Sakurako[/url], she is enjoying her life.

Out of the three households, she is the only person still alive who never alternated.

She always interferes with the Embroche family, ever since having a fight with the first Embroche. It seems like she has a purpose in making [url=/c34611]Lycoris[/url], her familiar spirit, sometimes attack Shuuma.

### Kamishiro Aoi (神代 葵)
An agent of the Vatican's Special Service Agency "Rubina." She came to town with [url=/c34611]Lycoris[/url], after getting information that an important vampire is there.

Aoi is one of a few people who can communicate directly with God. She has spent her whole life killing monsters, it is the top priority order assigned to her. Aoi prefers physical work over cognitive thinking and focuses on things in the moment without considering the future.

Her specialty is a combination attack with two swords, using her above average physical ability. Her purpose is freeing her partner Lycoris who became [url=/c34612]Iris's[/url] familiar spirit, so she will move together with [url=/c39402]Shuuma[/url] for a while.

Lycoris is always energetic and acts like an idiot. [Spoiler]Everyone thinks this is just the evil effect of becoming a vampire, but it's not true. Unexpectedly though, people realize she was the brains behind daredevil Aoi when they were still a team.[/Spoiler]

A werewolf maid who used to serve the Embroche family. She is not a familiar spirit so she can exist even after [url=/c39402]Shuuma[/url]'s father is gone. While Mari was searching for Shuuma to revive the Embroche family again, [url=/c34612]Iris[/url] found her and began using her as a gofer.

She is disappointed that Shuuma is not dependable as either a master or vampire. Still, she is serving him as a houseworker, hoping the Embroche family will someday be revived. Mari says whatever she thinks and sometimes it is too direct and poisonous towards her master Shuuma, basically though she is obedient and nice. She gets wolf ears and a tail when surprised.

Sakurako has many friends and is sociable. Naturally, she became friends with [url=/c34608]Calen[/url] who has a different standard from normal life, also with [url=/c34610]Aoi[/url] who is not a good conversationalist.

She is a rare person in that she talks with Shuuma in a natural way, even though every other female in the school is falling in love with him.

[url=/c34611]Lycoris[/url] turned her into a vampire by sucking her blood, causing Sakurako to attack Shuuma.
