## Description
A neuroscience × genetics × near-future sci-fi visual novel adventure game. 

In 2030, due to Japan’s advancements in neuroscience, memories can now be saved and recorded. This is called e-Memory.

However, due to the rapid increase in the number of crimes using the e-Memory technology, the government has introduced strict regulations on human memory data. 

In essence, the government now holds a monopoly on all human memory data. 

The recording of still-living humans was forbidden, and the e-Memory technology was only to be used on the deceased, giving rise to the establishment of "Connect Centers." These state-owned and operated facilities allowed one to call and communicate with the dead. 

These "Connect Centers" allowed people who were still in a period of bereavement to cope with their loss by talking with their recently deceased loved ones.

The protagonist, Kusuhara Hiroki, is a college student struggling with suicidal impulses after the sudden passing of his close childhood friend, Mizunashi Sorano. 

Her memories were to last only until August 26—a mere four more days. Kusuhara teams up with his friend, Amamiya Kakeru, in an attempt to steal Mizunashi Sorano's memories from the server where they were stored. 

In the midst of this, the two discover the secret of the Connect Centers, and are suddenly embroiled in the fight taking place behind the scenes.

Originally planned to be released as 3 volumes, the project was cancelled after the first, and the remaining 2 were converted into 4 light novels.

### Kusuhara Hiroki (楠原 裕樹)
Ever since losing his childhood friend in a traffic accident, he has been experiencing uncontrollable suicidal tendencies. However, his attempts have always ended in failure. 
"Why couldn't I save Sorano?" The thought constantly hounds him.
"If it really was your fault that Sorano died, then you can gladly go after her, can't you?" So says Amamiya, as he suggest he speak with Sorano's memories.
And so, Kusuhara and Amamiya set off, towards the Connect Center, but--

### Amamiya Kakeru (雨宮 翔)
Childhood friends with Kusuhara and Sorano. Rather eccentric and likes to crack jokes all the time, but has an extensive knowledge of programming that can even put professionals shame. He also has quite the handsome face, so he grabs the attention of women all around him. However, he himself doesn't seem to care.

He teams up with Kusuhara to solve the mystery behind Sorano's memories, using his pride and joy——an old-style PC.

Although still doubtful of Akane and Ema, Kusuhara joins forces with the two. Later, he learns about the hidden past of the two members of the Crimson Wings.

### Kanzaki Haruna (神咲 春菜)
A newbie detective assigned to the first division of the national police agency's special detective department. Straightforward and incredibly honest, but airheaded at times; an energetic "genki" girl. She loves red bean buns and milk. She was saved by a police officer in the past, which spurred her on to become a police officer herself. She was able to become a detective at the young age of 22 years old. While pursuing a "certain case", she encounters Kusuhara and company, and decides to join their investigation.

The leader of the "Crimson Wings," a budding organization with only two members. Preferring to dress in red, she wields a large spear. She encounters Kusuhara and the others while on her way to destroy the Connect Center. She claims to be a "victim" of the Connect Center's "wrongdoings," saying that her precious family was sacrificed.

Is what she says really true? What does she mean by "wrongdoings"?

### Mizunashi Sorano (瑞梨 そらの)

Kusuhara, Amamiya, and Sorano were always together wherever they went, and were best friends. However, Sorano lost her life just one month prior due to a traffic accident. According to the police report, she had thrown herself in front of a car, but Kusuhara refused to believe she would ever commit suicide. Determined, he decides to speak with Sorano's memories. Contrary to her dainty, appearance, she is cool, intellectual, and possesses a great deal of scientific knowledge. She assists Kusuhara in unraveling the secrets regarding Sorano's memories. But why is this enigma of a woman helping out Kusuhara? Her goals are shrouded in secrecy.
