The protagonist of this story. She's very busy everyday working part-time jobs for living expenses. Her father was a prodigious mechanical engineering professor who died about 5 years ago. Since the, Akane has been living a simple and frugal life with Sakuya. She's around the age where the word "marriage" stays on her mind and worries her.
