## Description
The story is pretty simple - Hikari ("Light"), the red haired girl that you see in an opening clip, has been kidnapped. And Rance gets the mission from his boss (the bald guy) to investigate the case. 

Rance is something like a detective in this story. This also turns the whole game more into a detective-like exploring than into rpg or more less rpg/strategy to which the gamers of the latter games of the series are used to. Rance isn’t alone in his job as he has a helper - 16 year old Sill. She's actually Rance's slave. She was from a rich family but later got kidnapped by some bandit and then auctioned as a slave. The one who bought her was of course Rance.

Now with her help you (Rance) have to solve this mystery, bring Hikari back and pay back to the ones at fault.

She personally nursed Rance back to health after he was delivered to Leazas castle on the verge of death from his defeat at the hands of Helman. She agreed to give Rance access to Leazas' army on the condition that he marry her, which he reluctantly accepted.

Currently, she is enjoying living as Rance's wife, though her desire to have him to herself causes her to constantly plot schemes to remove all of the other women from his life.

Patty is a shopkeeper working in the capital of Leazas in an Item Shop called Baltic. It is designed as a beachside clubhouse, and as such she both sells general items and shaved ice. She can't make up her mind as to what to focus on. She's great at cooking Yakisoba, a JAPANese dish that originated as a variant of fried noodles.

She's a cheerful and optimistic girl. She thinks of Rance as an interesting person. She loves water and hot environments, and dreams with going to a beach sometime and see a real sea. After she became the owner of her store, she decorated it with shells and spread sand on the floor to simulate a small beach in it. She also dresses accordingly.

Hikari Mi Blanc is a noble from the Kingdom of Leazas. A pretty girl with short red hair and a gentle demeanor, who has mysteriously disappeared. It's her case that Rance has to solve in the first game.

A young girl from a dimension very similar to our own who was chosen by Demon King Gai as his successor against her will. While she was rescued from his clutches by her boyfriend Kentarou, Gai had already successfully transmitted his blood into her, making her the next Demon King.

Currently, the Demons are caught in a civil war between those who desire to follow Gai's wishes and make her the new Demon King and those who oppose her. Miki herself has no desire to become the Demon King, and travels the continent with Kentarou in search of a way to return her body to normal.

While she is normally a gentle, timid girl, as the Demon King, she possesses immeasurable power that far surpasses even the strongest demons. In order to keep this power under control, she is required to eat a rare hirami lemon that is only grown at the top of a mountain in rural Helman every three months.
