Lucia is a student of Valudeto High. She likes engrossing herself in studying and looks down on people who are not as intellectual as her. She only cares for her own sake and may appear snobbish at times. She is often bullied for this very reason. 

Ever since her sister's death, Lucia has been trying so hard to take her place. She believes that by doing so, she will be able to find her rightful place in the family; however, unlike Bertha, Lucia only excels at one field: academics.

She has a crush on her Senior, Raphael Martis, ever since she was young.

Blake, also known as Black, is the vocalist and guitarist of a well-known band, Cyan. 

Naturally, due to Blake's occupation, he has become the main attraction for girls within Valudeto High; however, Blake chooses to ignore most of his fans as much as possible. In fact, he ignores even his peers, making him appear almost rude, which is why Lucia doesn't necessarily get along with him.

Blake is a naive, lazy, and laid-back character who shows a lack of concern for his surroundings, and usually slacks off during class by sleeping; however, what lacks for his work ethic makes up for his strong passion and determination for music.

[spoiler]It is later revealed that Blake is an adopted child. His real father being Valudeto High's janitor, Paul, who belongs to the Rhodes family. Thus, his real name is Nathaniel Rhodes. [/spoiler]

Clifford Rhodes is a mysterious young man with a ghost-like appearance; however, he appears to be neither among the living or the dead. Perhaps this man lies somewhere in between.

Clifford has a habit of talking in riddles and loves to confuse people. He can only be seen by a few select people and one of them appears to be Lucia. He seems to possess uncanny knowledge about the mysterious happenings occurring around Lucia.

He can often be found in the park, looking up at the sky, or staring into the nearby neighborhood full of houses. Perhaps he is reflecting on his actions, or reminiscing about something of a greater scale.

Lee is the son of a rich family and is the one next in line to inherit the family name. He is the student council president and is one of the smartest students of Valudeto High, being ranked #1. Being the "perfect" student, Lee is quite popular at school, and his relationship with Lucia can sometimes be one of the reasons as to why some girls are hostile towards Lucia.

Not much is known about him, other than the fact that he definitely knows more than he should and is somehow involved in the doppelganger case.

[spoiler]It is later revealed that Neo's rather creepy mannersims is just a facade. He uses this as a ploy to scare people away; to keep them from delving too deep into the doppelganger case and causing themselves unnecessary harm. In truth, Neo's just a typical young adult: kind, helpful and a hardcore gamer.

Neo currently works as a police and has been trying to find evidence to prove that the entity called "Doppelganger" is indeed the one behind all these mysterious happenings. Naturally, due to his theory being too far-fetched, none of his colleagues believe him.

Raphael is the captain of Valudeto High's basketball team. Being the team's ace, Raphael is extremely skilled in basketball. His father, a basketball coach, was the one who originally founded the club. Sadly, he passed away due to health complications.

Ever since his father's death, Raphael's family has been struggling financially even more so than before. This lead to Raphael's strong desire to get a scholarship out of playing basketball. Unfortunately, his team has never reached any further than the semifinals. Even so, Raphael's determination never wavers and wishes to continue his father's legacy.

Raphael was close friends with Lucia's older sister, Bertha, when she was still alive. Lucia fell in love with the man Bertha described in her stories: a bright, cheery and determined young man. Soon after their first meeting, Lucia develops a crush on her sister's close friend.

[spoiler]It is later revealed that he was in fact God Mode. In order to support his family, Raphael entered the hacking business as a means to receive income. [/spoiler]

Yuri is a fearless delinquent from Garnaster High, who happens to also be a gang member. He seems to despise students from Valudeto High, and what's more, his mortal enemy, Rico, goes there.

He is currently living with his father, a well-respected surgeon, after his parents divorced, leaving his younger brother, Ignatius, with his mother. It would appear that Yuri's relationship with Ignatius is a bitter one.

Yuri suffers academically as education seems to be of lower priority to him, which gives his younger brother even more reason to loathe him.

Anastasia is a student of Valudeto High and is well-known for being a bully. To top it off, she seems to be dating one of Valudeto High's delinquents, Enrico Moretti. 

Just like your typical bully, Anastasia harasses students as a means to get what she wants. She would go through extreme measures just to achieve her goal. In Lucia's case, locking her up in the bathroom all day long just because she didn't follow her commands.

That's when karma bites back and she becomes one of the first victims of a mysterious chain of deaths.

Unlike most brother and sister relationships which are strongly resemblant of a cat-dog relationship, Arthur's relationship with Lucia is a tamed one, as they seem to be willing to cater to each other's needs.

As if his reputation wasn't bad enough, Rico seems to be dating one of the most well-known bullies of Valudeto High, Anastasia Brunell. Though at the current moment, their relationship is a little bit rough on the edges.

Rico soon becomes one of the first victims of the mysterious disappearances occurring within the city. He then appears in front of Lucia, seeking for help, claiming that no one other than her can see him.

Ignatius is a studious young man who is specifically interested in the sciences. Clearly, all his hard work pays off as he does extremely well in school.

Ignatius attends the same school as Lucia and lives right next door to her. Though not quite close, he and Lucia are on pretty good terms and get along pretty well due to their shared interest: academics.

After his parents' separation, Ignatius now lives with his mother, while his older brother, Yuri, lives with their father. Ignatius seems to feel strong hatred towards his own brother, believing him to be the reason as to why their parents decided to live separate lives.

Despite living under these conditions, Chunxiang still remains optimistic and doesn't seem to complain about her current situation. She is shown to have a friendly nature as she didn't have any problems with Lucia upon their first meeting.

After her sister Bertha's death, Lucia Nicol is struggling to follow her footsteps.

One by one, the schoolmates who once bullied her were now attacked, and suddenly she became the main suspect. After those events, she found out that she was able to see people who can’t be seen by “normal” people, and that she had the ability to uncover the dark, insane truth of an entity called “Doppelganger”. 

Her life is suddenly in danger, and the people she normally trusts suddenly doesn’t look so kind any more…
