She is mistaken as a cosplayer because of her scantly clothing on her first encounter by the main character when he awakes in hell after being killed in one hit.
Although being a demon, she offers to revive the main character with the power of the hells hot spring by receiving the life energy of his semen, successfully reviving him after having sex twice.
She apparently went to an all-female school for demons, so her sexual experience with a man makes her wail because of the "harshness" (which is contrary to her image of intercourse with a human male).

[spoiler] When the main character dies a second time he has the choice of coming back to life or staying behind in hell with Fran, who thinks his choice is foolish while obviously being in love with him. This is further supported by her stating that she wants to meet again, regardless of place and shape, and that she feels the two of them having a bond if the player chooses to revive again instead of staying with her.
